Privacy Policy
How Alephnet, LLC collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide through this website.
1. Our Approach to Privacy
Alephnet, LLC (“Alephnet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to operate this website, respond to your inquiries, and provide our services, and we do not sell your personal information.
This policy applies to information collected through www.alephnet.ai and any directly related services. It does not cover information collected through third-party websites linked from ours.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you submit our contact form, request a Discovery Call, or otherwise communicate with us, you provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, company affiliation, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure may log standard technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and time of access. This is used for security, error diagnosis, and aggregate usage analysis.
Information collected through analytics and advertising technology
We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and marketing technologies on our website, including Google Analytics and may include advertising pixels such as Google Ads or LinkedIn Insight Tag. These tools collect information including device and browser identifiers, IP address (often truncated), pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and approximate location derived from IP. We use this information to understand audience characteristics, measure website performance, and improve the effectiveness of our content. We do not use this information to build profiles for selling to third parties.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers, health data, government-issued identifiers, biometric data, or precise geolocation) through this website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the information you request
- Schedule and conduct Discovery Calls and follow-up communications
- Deliver consulting and advisory services where a separate engagement agreement is in place
- Maintain records required for legitimate business and legal purposes
- Measure website performance, audience characteristics, and content effectiveness
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts we operate
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How We Share Your Information
Alephnet does not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted third-party service providers (such as our customer relationship management platform, email infrastructure, calendar/booking platform, and website hosting), all located in the United States. These providers process information only on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
- Analytics and measurement providers. Our use of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and similar measurement tools causes some usage information (such as device identifiers, IP address, and pages viewed) to be transmitted to and processed by the relevant providers (for example, Google, LinkedIn) under their respective terms. We configure these tools solely to understand how our website is performing and to measure the effectiveness of any marketing efforts we operate. We do not use them for cross-context behavioral advertising or to build profiles for third-party use.
- Legal obligations. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients or the public.
- Business transfers. If Alephnet is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain business records, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. Analytics data is typically retained in aggregated form for up to 26 months. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it using reasonable practices.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels and local storage. We use these for the purposes described below.
Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the website to function (for example, session management, security, and load balancing).
- Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors interact with the website (for example, Google Analytics). These collect aggregated, mostly anonymous data.
- Measurement cookies. Used to measure the effectiveness of any marketing efforts we operate (for example, Google Ads or LinkedIn conversion tracking). We do not use these to build cross-site behavioral profiles or for retargeting.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies on a per-site basis or globally. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality. For more information on managing cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for any analytics and advertising cookies on a best-effort basis.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Alephnet does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising, does not build profiles for third-party use, and does not sell personal information. We collect analytics data to improve our website and to understand whether our work reaches the people we hope to help. We believe you should have control over your own information, so we honor the following choices — not because a statute compels us, but because it is the right thing to do.
- Access. You can request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you and a copy of what we have.
- Correction. You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion. You can request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legitimate business and legal retention needs.
- Opt out of marketing communications. If we ever send you marketing email, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- Disable analytics or advertising tracking. You can control these through your browser settings, browser extensions, or by enabling Global Privacy Control.
To exercise any of these choices, contact us at privacy@alephnet.ai. We will respond promptly — typically within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Visitors
Alephnet serves clients in the United States. Our hosting infrastructure routes traffic through globally distributed edge servers for performance and security; origin data and primary storage remain in the United States. If you access our website from outside the United States, you understand that your information may transit through edge servers worldwide and will be processed and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at privacy@alephnet.ai and we will take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
